Plastic Bin – You can purchase a
bin from The Warehouse, Payless Plastic’s etc for around $8 - $10.
This will keep your gear nice and tidy beside your bike.

It is helpful to take something
like a plastic flower, ribbon or balloon to mark the position of
your bike in transition.

Vaseline – Don’t forget to rub
this everywhere! Between the thighs, nipples and underarms.

 |
Sunblock – Waterproof. Sun hat
for run. Sunglasses are optional for cycle/run
|
 |
Wet Suit – A word of warning, this is only good if you have
practiced sliding your body in and out of one! Baby oil helps for
this one.
|
 |
Tog’s – You can wear your bra
underneath your togs. It is easiest to remain in your togs for the
duration of the event. Please note, no nudity allowed. For any of you that were thinking about wearing full
padded cycle shorts in the swim this is going to weigh you down and
make you feel heavy on the cycle/run. It is a good idea to have loose
fitting shorts and top to slip over your damp body. Breathable
fabrics are good.

without having to worry about tying your laces.

On the day there will be people
inside the transition area to help with any queries. To make your
race run as smoothly as possible it is always a good idea to learn
where the entries and exits are in the transition area. The course
route will be on display. Take some time to view this and walk
around the run mapped out inside the grounds.
